In the case of live service, or voice mail with an option to reach a live operator, there are variable costs are dependent upon the number of calls the operator handles per month. The cost for each call taken or initiated by the operator varies from $1.00 per call to $0.80 per call.
For voice mail, costs are based upon a combination of the length of the outgoing message, the length of time messages are stored, the number of voice mail boxes active as a part of the main box, and whether or not the voice mail system is to page the client when a call is received.
