HOME REPAIR: An individual with a
busy remodeling and home repair business works out of his home, but
is usually out on the job during normal business hours. He uses our
answering service to take message for him unless the caller wants a
quote immediately. In that case, we put the caller on hold, reach the
repairman on his cell phone, and then patch the calls together. He likes
the service because it gives him a bigger company feel.

MEDICAL PRACTICE: A busy medical practice uses our service in a
number o ways. If their lines become overloaded during the day, we take
the overflow calls, and fax the messages back to the office immediately.
During their lunch hour we take the calls and fax them back to the office
when they check back in. Outside of business hours we take all their
calls and for routine matters, the messages are held and faxed to them
at the start of their business hours the next day. For calls where the
caller requests an immediate conversation with the doctor, we reach
the on call doctor by caller her cell phone, then her residence. If
we are unable to reach the on call doctor, we then call the next doctor
on the list, and keep trying until we reach one of the doctors in the
office.

CRISIS LINE: A women's crisis center uses us to take their calls
24 hours by 7 days. The callers who are reporting violence are patched
through to the first available counselor.

IN THE FIELD: A busy carpet cleaning business with vans in the field
uses our service to take their calls and for those callers wanting a
quote or immediate service, we alphanumerically page the message to
the next carpet cleaner on the list who then returns the call immediately.

ONE-PERSON OFFICE: An attorney with a small office and no receptionist
uses our service during the day to screen his calls. We get the caller's
name and what the call is about. We then place the caller on hold, and
make a call to the attorney's back line and relay the name and message.
If he wants, the caller is patched through to him. If he does not wish
to take the call, or is not there, we tell the caller we are unable
to reach the attorney, but will deliver the message as soon as possible.

RADIO DISPATCH: A water company uses are our service to receive
calls about water leaks, and other similar problems. We then use their
radio at our radio console to dispatch the repair truck to the site
to repair the problem.

'O' FOR OPERATOR: A psychologist uses our service during the day
when she is in session. She has a scripted greeting which her callers
hear. The message gives them the choice of leaving a message, or if
it is an urgent matter, of reaching a live operator. If the caller reaches
our operator he or she takes the message, and tells the caller that
the psychologist will call immediately after her current session is
over.

VOICE MAIL WITH PAGING: A real estate appraiser who is always in
the field has a voice mail service with us. The voice mail gives the
caller the option of leaving a message, and if the matter is urgent
can have the appraiser paged. Upon receiving the page, the appraiser
calls her voice mail, retrieves the message, and returns the call.
